Privacy policy

This covers what Stoll Design collects through My Monitor and this website, why, who else handles it, and your choices.
Mobile numbers and text consent are never shared for marketing. We don’t sell, rent or share your mobile number, or your agreement to get texts, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The only outside company that sees your number is the text provider that delivers our alerts (Twilio), and only to deliver them.
What we collect

The app uses a cookie to keep you signed in. There’s no advertising or tracking.
Who else handles it
These companies handle information for us, only to provide My Monitor:
- DigitalOcean hosts the app, its database and this website.
- Twilio delivers text messages (your mobile number and the text).
- Resend delivers email (your email address and the message).
- Your equipment makers’ services (such as EG4) are where readings come from, using the logins you or the property’s owner gave us.
- Google Fonts provides the typefaces on this website.
We share information otherwise only if the law requires it. Some of these companies may handle information outside Canada.
Who can see what
People on a property’s account see that property’s readings. The owner and managers can see who has access, and the alerts and emails sent from the property, with addresses and numbers partly hidden. Stoll Design can see everything, to run and support the service.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while you have an account. Remove your mobile number in the app and we stop texting it right away. Ask us to close your account and we delete your personal information, except what we must keep by law.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text, or turn texts off in the app, to stop texts.
- Change your alert choices, or remove your number, under My account › Alerts.
- Email us to see, correct or delete your information.
